Darling's CDJR Newport is proud to support the towns we call home, not just with a name on a sponsorship banner, but with real involvement in the events, schools, and causes that matter to Newport and the surrounding communities.
What we've supported this year
Cooper and Ace Flagg Basketball Camp. Newport is home to Cooper Flagg, the number one pick in the 2025 NBA Draft and now a rookie with the Dallas Mavericks, and his twin brother Ace, who plays for the University of Maine. Each summer, the Flagg brothers return home to run a basketball camp for hundreds of Maine kids, and we're proud to help support it.
Dexter Regional High School football field and lights, with MSAD #46. We're glad to support improvements that keep Friday nights under the lights possible for Dexter area students and families.
Corinna Fire Department cornhole tournament. We supported the Brian Mullis benefit cornhole tournament, helping the Corinna Fire Department raise funds for a great cause.
Mount View Middle School yearbook. A small sponsorship that helps students hold onto a piece of their school year.
Bangor Region Chamber of Commerce Spring Golf Scramble. Supporting the wider business community we're part of across central Maine.
